DREAM OF YESTERDAY
“Dream of Yesterday” is the new single from Sheffield based singer songwriter , Daz Cadwallander.

Following on from the release and success of his previous single “Copycat” in October 2020 which entered the official charts at number 50 and which in total gained over 80+ radio plays and numerous write ups and mentions, Daz has recorded his newest single named “Dream Of Yesterday”, which was released on the 1st March 2021 and which upon release went straight into the Singer / Songwriter charts at number 3 and number 78 of the top 100 all genre charts.

Cadwallander says the new track was written during and is about the difficult times everyone has faced within the last year and trying to take some positives from those times.
” This song was written as if 2020 was a person and 2019 something / someone they missed. Reflecting on easier and simpler times, understanding that family, friendship and laughter are all enough to make us happy. Moving forward I’d like to think people didn’t take life for granted like we’re all guilty of so of“.

Cadwallander is also no stranger to the live scene having played gigs at the likes of the O2 Academy Sheffield where he’s headlined, TRAMLINES festival and supported the likes of Tom Hingley of Inspiral Carpets. BBC RADIO Sheffield have taken a shine to Daz and his tracks, supporting his new releases as well as having him appear as a special guest on multiple shows and live interviews. They have tipped him for big things in 2021.
