TRAMPOLENE, released their new single ‘Shoot The Lights,’ on Thursday 24th June.

Jack Jones, is the lead singer/guitarist of TRAMPOLENE and he is a spoken word poet, singer and songwriter. He also moonlights as lead guitarist in Peter Doherty & The Puta Madres. TRAMPOLENE is made up of Jack Jones – vocals/guitar, Wayne Thomas – bass/vocals and Jay Bone – drums/vocals .Jack writes about everyday life, his upbringing, and offers his own social commentary on the world, all delivered with a gentle Swansea lilt.
TRAMPOLENE have released two albums previously – ‘Swansea To Hornsey’ (2017) which entered the UK indie chart at no. 10 and ‘Pick A Pocket or Two’ (2018).

Jack Jones has said of the new single;

“for me it’s about when you’re scared and trapped indoors together with someone you love, for what feels like forever, it’s touch you need, life you want, and shoot the lights when you dare.”

The video for ‘Shoot The Lights’ was directed by Roger Sargent (Sleaford Mods/The Libertines/Fat White Family) and filmed on a psychedelic trip around London and in Roger’s front room! Roger explains the idea behind the video

TRAMPOLENE are set to release their third album ‘Love No Less Than A Queen,’ on Friday 20th August through the Strap Originals label. The album features 12 new TRAMPOLENE songs and was produced by Mike Moore, Richard Jackson (Super Furry Animals) & Jason Stafford (Albion Rooms) and mixed by Dave Emery (Arcade Fire/Elbow).

The new single is the fifth track to be lifted from ‘Love No Less Than A Queen’ along with ‘Gotta Do More Gotta Be More,’ ‘Oh Lover,’Come Join Me In Life’ and ‘Uncle Brian’s Abattoir.’All five tracks can be streamed and downloaded immediately when you preorder ‘Love No Less Than A Queen’

‘Love No Less Than A Queen’ will be available on CD, cassette, digital download and 12” vinyl, including beautiful limited marble and Red variants, as well as exclusive formats and signed items. The album also features ‘Born Again’ which is included in the soundtrack to the hugely successful digital Basketball game NBA2K.
