Dave Grohl is to lead his remaining bandmates in two memorial shows in honour of his late best friend and drummer of his band Foo Fighters;Taylor Hawkins. The first show will take place on the 3rd September in London, with a second taking place in Los Angeles later in the month.

Foo Fighters have announced that they will perform these two very special “all star” tribute shows for their friend and late drummer.

The band announced: “Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear and Rami Jaffee will come together with the Hawkins family to celebrate the life, music and love of their husband, father, brother and bandmate with The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts.

The first concert will take place at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday 3rd September in memoriam of the musician, who died on 25th March this year.

There will also be a Stateside concert at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum on Saturday 27th September.

Tickets for both shows will go on sale on Friday 17th June 2022.
