Timing is everything in indie rock ‘n’ roll, and the stars are certainly aligning around Tres Kings.

After recently tearing up the stage on the bill icons The Libertines’ show at Kent’s Rochester Castle, the trio backed this up by dominating the BBC introducing airwaves with new single ‘Roll Up Your Sleeves’, receiving multiple plays from the show at listeners requests.

Although the message of the song delves into picking yourself up and owning your mistakes, this is wrapped in a fast-paced, high-octane indie banger.

Frontman Wez King delivers his vocals in a way that balance raw grit with a strong hook. He’s joined by rhythm section brother Rhu and Lacs (Swedish) Fuller, who constantly maintain a tight-but-catchy groove.

You can already tell this hit is going to be a very popular singalong in a live setting.‘Roll Up Your Sleeves’ was recorded at The Libertines HQ in Margate, The Albion Rooms, being engineered and mixed by award winning sound engineer Jason Stafford (The Libertines/Trampolene/Jamie T)  and mastered by Graham Waller.

The track was written by front man Wez King and he said: “It’s a song about self reflection and moving on from mistakes. Life can be chaotic, but beautiful, so just roll up your sleeves and get on with it.”  

Following a short hiatus in which the collective band members sought to pursue individual projects,  Tres Kings reunited with a renewed energy and purpose in 2025. United by brotherhood and driven by a fresh creative spark, the band earned new recognition in 2025 with their singles, ‘Scuba Diver’, ‘Antenna’, and ‘My Favourite Letter is K’ receiving  plays and praise from the likes of  Radio X and BBC Introducing. Further achievements that year also included playing to a packed out tent at the Isle of Wight Festival, major support slots with Huey Morgan (The Fun Lovin’ Criminal) and indie giants Sleeper as well as numerous sell out headline gigs and a week long residency in France.

2026 started off strong for the band with two massive SOLD OUT shows in London with Trampolene in the opening month followed by the release of their first single of the year, the guitar driven, funky bass laden, nostalgia loaded ‘ET’.

Intervening months saw Tres Kings build up their fan base further by playing numerous sell out gigs to include at the Spice of Life – Soho, The Lexington – Kings Cross, The Good Mixer – Camden, Signature Brew – Haggerston, Rooz Studios – London, The Maidstone Fringe Festival, and The Great Escape Festival.

The band then released the first single off of their upcoming EP of the same name ‘Bad Side Baby’ in June which was championed by both Casey Dale on BBC Introducing and John Kennedy on Radio X.

Recent gigs for the band have included a return to this year’s Isle Of Wight Festival, The Great Rock n Roll Rumble at Bush Hall and playing both on the field and on the stage at this year’s 30th anniversary Soccer Six tournament. The band also recorded a live set for Hot Vox in connection with War Child raising funds and awareness for the charity.
